What we check on a used Mercedes turbo

Turbochargers, actuators, boost pipes and turbo-related parts, each from an engine we saw running where possible, with the donor mileage on the listing. On complete turbos we check shaft play and the wastegate or actuator before listing, and the part number is photographed so you can match it to yours. A turbo is only as good as the oil feed, so change the feed pipe and oil when fitting.
