What we check on a used Mercedes headlight

We test every headlight on the bench before it goes on the shelf: main beam, dipped beam, indicator and any LED or xenon module, then check the lens for stone chips, hazing and cracks and the mounting lugs for breaks, which is the usual reason a used headlight fails. Xenon and adaptive units are listed with the ballast and control module where they came off with the car. Left and right are stated as you sit in the driver's seat.
