Will a used engine ECU work straight away in my car?
Usually not. Most engine ECUs are locked to the donor car's immobiliser and need cloning or programming by a specialist or dealer. Buying an ECU with the exact same part number and software suffix as yours keeps that job simple. Ask us for the numbers before you order if the listing photos do not show them.
How do I match a sensor or module part number?
The number is printed on a label or moulded into the casing of your old part. Compare every character, including the letter suffix, with our listing. Where a maker lists several numbers for the same part, we show the one on the actual unit. Send us your registration if you cannot read yours.
